The new tools build on the company’s Intelligence-Led Operations Platform, an integrated set of analysis, visualization, and management applications that identifies connections and patterns from disparate data sources.

- Digital Monitoring Products of Springfield, Missouri, has released Version 205 software for its DMP XR100/XR500 Command Processor panels. Now users can control their alarm systems via SMS text commands from a cell phone or a browser.

- CAP Index, Inc., of Exton, Pennsylvania, has launched RedFlag 2.0, a comprehensive risk assessment tool that helps companies evaluate possible hazards from natural disasters, crime, terrorism, and other threatening scenarios.

- Continental Access of Amityville, New York, has released updated CA3000 v.2.7 software that works very fast for seamless multitasking even during peak traffic hours. It enables door opening times of less than half a second, even when processing complex credentials such as FIPS-201 PIV badges.

Security Platform

- Genetec of Montreal, Canada, has released the latest version of its unified security platform. Security Center 4.0 unifies the company’s Omnicast IP video surveillance and Synergis IP access control systems with its AutoVu IP license plate recognition (LPR) system.

- Savant Protection of Hudson, New Hampshire, has updated its application whitelisting solution. Version 3.3 features new client management capabilities, allowing users to seamlessly and automatically create and update whitelists across the enterprise.

- Agilence, Inc., of Camden, New Jersey, offers a product that helps retailers identify point-of-sale losses caused by operational and systemic issues as well as fraud.

- A new DVD from Panasonic System Networks Company of America, based in Secaucus, New Jersey, offers a design tool that helps systems integrators, dealers, architects, and consultants formulate bids and proposals.

- London-based Bloxx has launched the Bloxx Media Filter, a secure Web appliance that ena­bles schools and students to gain the educational benefits of online social media content, such as YouTube, in a secure online environment.

Video Analytics

- Honeywell of Louisville, Kentucky, has released new video analytics technology in Active Alert v4.7. The system can automatically detect, analyze, track, and classify the behavior of people, objects, and vehicles as they move through a scene, alerting operators to suspicious activities.

- Matrix Systems of Dayton, Ohio, has released its Frontier 2010 access control software, which features built-in interfaces for both Schlage and Videx CyberLock wireless hardware.

- Kaba Access Control of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, has introduced E-Plex Enterprise Software that manages its E-Plex PIN-based E3200 and E5200 series and proximity-based E3700 and E5700 series electronic locks and controllers.

- VA-Missing software from Geutebruck of Windhagen, Germany, detects the removal of static objects from video-monitored scenes in museums, galleries, and other venues.
