- March Networks of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, has launched a new solution for mobile video deployments on buses, subways, light rail, and freight rail.

Dome systems

- Pelco of Clovis, California, has updated its Spectra Integrated Camera Dome System. The Spectra IV offers advanced optics, including 35X optical zoom lens, 540 TV lines of resolution, and the ability to capture quality images in lighting as minimal as 0.007 lux.

IP dome cameras

- IndigoVision of Edinburgh, Scotland, has developed a range of dedicated IP Dome Cameras for indoor and outdoor applications. The units are compatible with the company’s Control Center Video and Alarm Management software and its networked video recorders.

Mobile Video Monitoring

- CoVi Technologies has introduced Crystal HD v.2.2 software that gives security personnel the ability to access a single stream of video surveillance remotely through a PDA and four simultaneous streams of video surveillance on a wireless-enabled notebook computer.

Surveillance Solution

- PureTech Systems Inc. has integrated its PureActiv Solution with the AXIS 232D+ Network Camera. The combination provides a fully digital security solution that allows video viewing and camera control to be accomplished anywhere on the client’s network, including an access-controlled Web interface.

Thermal Cameras

- The Cohu 5900 Series of thermal cameras now includes three sensor sizes to suit nearly any application.

Digital Video Recorders

- A new line of multichannel digital video recorders has been introduced by TOA Electronics of South San Francisco, California.
