Simple Paging reproduces live announcements from a desk or on the move, giving security professionals an intelligible and flexible emergency response tool via a free mobile app. Multiple paging groups can be set up in as little as 10 minutes, with limited IT knowledge. Tags are easily associated with paging zones to establish groups. High-quality IP voice paging can be initiated from paging stations, tablets, and smartphones once the power network and loudspeakers are configured.

- Irving Burton Associates of Herndon, Virginia, offers the In Case of Crisis mobile solution that allows organizations convenient and secure access to emergency information, with features such as instructions, building diagrams, one-tap key contact calling, and push notifications for updates, alerts, and maps.


- LRAD Corporation of San Diego, California, has introduced the LRAD 360Xm, a highly intelligible, compact communication product designed for shorter distances and defined spaces.


- The BiiSafe Buddy is a Bluetooth 4.0-based smartphone accessory that is wirelessly connected to the phone, made by BiiSafe USA Inc. of Dover, Delaware.


- Prospect Hill Advisors, LLC, of Arlington, Virginia, has launched Storm­, a platform that allows government agencies and citizens to communicate via a single application.


- The Remote Concierge from Datawatch Systems of Beth­esda, Maryland, remotely monitors natural disasters before and during impact, enabl­ing better communication and dissemination of information, including the ability to manage building access.


- GAI-Tronics Corporation of Mohnton, Pennsylvania, has introduced new camera-ready emergency telephones to complement its line of RED ALERT Emergency Telephones.


- PPM 2000 Inc. of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, has integrated its computer-aided dispatch component, Perspective Dis­patch­Log, with the Intelligent Notification platform from San Diego-based MIR3.


- The new emergency phone tower from Talk-A-Phone Company of Niles, Illinois, accommodates two video surveillance cameras on a T-shaped camera arm.


- The SAMALITE HD200 Portable Lighting System from SMP Electronics and sold by PacAtlantic offers powerful, manageable lighting solutions for emergency use.
