Product Catalog

- Honeywell of Louisville, Kentucky, has released its Video Systems 2008 Product Catalog, which includes the company’s newest video surveillance innovations and provides dealers with one-stop access to information on the company’s full line of video systems and security productions.

Power Controller

- The new ACM4 Access Power Controller from Altronix of Brooklyn, New York, distributes 12/24 VAC or VDC over four independently controlled fail-safe and/or fail-secure outputs to power and control electric strikes and magnetic locks. A fire alarm interface is field-selectable for any or all outputs with individual LEDs to indicate lock status.

Engraved Exit Bar

- DynaLock Corporation of Bristol, Connecticut, has announced the availability of optional engraved signage on its 6451 Series Exit Sensor Bar. The durable, precision CNC-engraved “PUSH TO EXIT” letters are red-filled and 1-inch-high. Customers should specify the PTE option when ordering. Custom engraving is also available and can be quoted on request.

Hospital Doors

- Horton Automatics of Corpus Christi, Texas, has introduced a telescoping ICU/CCU door system with a UL-certified smoke-rated design. The door package can provide up to 80 inches of clear opening width. It is available in custom sizes from 7 to 12 feet wide.

License Plate ID

- Genetec of Saint-Laurent, Canada, has released an IP-based license plate recognition appliance that delivers advanced digital video processing and superior plate reading. The AutoVu Sharp has a rugged design that is ideal for outdoor environments and is available for both fixed and mobile installations.

Video Analytics

- Rule-driven detection modules from ioimage of Herzliya, Israel, automate the task of monitoring video and detecting events. Real-time image analysis provides computer-vision capabilities that help lower surveillance costs. Intrusion detection automatically notes prohibited movement scenarios and can be used on stationary and pan-tilt-zoom cameras.

Transceiver Hubs

- Altronix of Brooklyn, New York, has expanded its line of UTP transceiver hubs that are compatible with AC and/or DC fixed or pan-tilt-zoom cameras. The enhanced line includes the HubWay, HubWayLD, HubWayLDH, and HubSat UTP Transceiver Hubs.

Infrared Detectors

- Three new outdoor infrared detectors are joining the ADPRO range of external or passive PIRs from Xtralis of Hemel Hempstead, United Kingdom. The new detectors offer a detection pattern as large as 50 meters by 30 meters.

Public Monitor

- Pelco of Clovis, California, has introduced a new monitor to its line of viewing solutions. The Pelco PublicView Monitor is an integrated monitor and camera system that provides criminal deterrence and promotional messaging for lobbies and other public areas.

Crime Mapping

- The new CRIMECAST Online Web site has been launched by CAP Index, Inc., of Exton, Pennsylvania. An Internet-based delivery system and report management tool, the site allows clients to generate reports for any address in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom.

KVM Drawer

- The new 12001 KVM Drawer from Minneapolis-based Winsted Corporation includes a 17-inch LCD monitor, PS/2 keyboard, and touchpad mouse stored in a drawer that can be mounted in virtually all of the company’s vertical racks and most consoles.

Lock Bracket

- DynaLock of Bristol, Connecticut, has introduced the new GLB2 Gate Lock Bracket. Designed exclusively for use with the 2013 Series Gate Lock, its two-piece design includes an adjustable armature mounting bracket that is configured for the current generation armature housing.

Secure Waste Holder

- The Data Dis-Guard cabinet provides secure storage of discarded sensitive materials that are awaiting destruction.
