- The BIP-1600c-dn two-megapixel IP camera from Basler Vision Technologies of Ah­rensburg, Germany, now also features true day/night functionality.

Advanced Imaging

- Two new cameras from Bosch Security Systems, Inc., of Fairport, New York, offer advanced imaging for surveillance applications.

Compact Dome Camera

- Bosch Security Systems, Inc. of Fairport, New York, has released a new compact indoor pan-tilt-zoom camera. The AutoDome Easy II is about one-quarter the size of a traditional pan-tilt-zoom dome camera and 20 percent smaller than most minidomes.

Covert Surveillance

- The new Spyder pinhole camera/DVR kit from Sperry West of San Diego, California, offers a surveillance system that can be hidden in a dropped ceiling.

Traffic Camera System

- RF Central of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, has introduced the Sky Definition HD Traffic Camera System. Designed for outdoor broadcast applications, this COFDM digital HD camera and transmitter system comes equipped with a high-power microwave amplifier capable of a 60-mile range.

Video Synopsis

- BriefCam of Neve Ilan, Israel, has launched a technology for summarizing CCTV footage. It allows for one day’s surveillance footage to be summarized into a few minutes, enabling the rapid review and indexing of captured video.

Wearable Camcorder

- A wearable digital camcorder that can record up to seven hours of video and audio has been launched by iRes Technology Corp. of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The 31⁄2-inch recorder provides hands-free video and audio recording at the touch of a button.

IP Cameras

- Vicon Industries Inc., of Hauppauge, New York, has added three new models to its I-ONYX line of IP cameras.
