Security Engineered Machinery of Westboro, Massachusetts, has introduced a new shredder that economically and conveniently shreds high volumes of paper. The Model 1201PF shredder has an automatic sheet feeder that accepts stacks of up to 1,000 sheets at a time. A bypass slot allows single sheets to be manually fed without interrupting the automatic feeder. The heavy-duty cutting head reduces paper to crosscut 1/4 by 1/2 -inch shreds. The unit accepts paper up to 12 1/4 inches wide and features automatic stop/start/reverse/shutoff and an LCD status panel. An automatic fan press saves time by automatically compacting shreds for fewer bag changes.
