Physical Security System/Access Control Performance Standards
Does anybody have, or know of any guidelines or performance standards to measure the effectiveness of physical security/access control systems? The items that come to mind are things like:
- nuisance/false alarm rates
- actual # of alarms
- number of supervisory errors
- malfunction devices
- alarm response time
- cost to maintain systems
- etc.,etc.
Any help in this area will be appricated.
