Security Professionals: Develop a Salient Voice in Business Matters

By Leigh McGuire

ASIS International has partnered with Madrid-based IE Business School and Boston-based Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Business to develop two new executive programs addressing the scope of business fundamentals and challenges commonly faced by todays mid- to senior-level security managers.

Both programs incorporate a combination of interactive discussions, case studies, and teamwork to push participants beyond simply acquiring new knowledge and skills. The frameworks and tools required for success in a competitive, international business environment are explored—preparing participants to present a sound, structured security plan and ensure adequate budgetary and organizational support.

The first offering of Effective Management for Security Professionals will be offered in Madrid, Spain from February 28 through March 3, 2011. Business Concepts for the Effective Security Manager will be presented March 8 through March 11, 2011 in Boston, MA. Program registration closes February 7, 2011.

Visit ASIS International for a full program overviews and registration.
