Rugged Loudspeakers

Appears in the issue.

Federal Signal of University Park, Illinois, has introduced new industrial public-address and general-alarm speakers that are resistant to corrosion. The P-LS2B and P-LS2C are manufactured from antistatic, glass-reinforced polyester and are available in ATEX/IEC Zone 1 explosion-proof versions. The loudspeakers offer maximum power output of 25 watts and have 10 preset taps to provide an adjustable sound output of 113 to 124 decibels. A universal mounting bracket eliminates slippage by locking the sounder in position at a predetermined angle. Field wiring connections are accommodated by two M20 X 1.5 millimeter threaded openings in the rear cover. All external hardware is manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
