Southwest Micro­wave of Tempe, Arizona, has introduced the new­est-generation INTREPID intelligent perimeter-detection sensors, offering an integrated, multitechnology solution to address diverse outdoor perimeter threats. It provides fence, buried cable, and digital micro­wave protection alternatives with single-platform networking. The INTREPID Micro­Point II fence detection sensor and MicroPoint II buried cable sensor offer unique detection capabilities to protect even the highest security sites, including precise target location to 10 feet, software-based zone assignment with tie-in to CCTV presets, and discrimination between legitimate attacks and nuisances. The all-weather, K-band INTREPID MicroWave 330 digital micro­wave link, with an 800-foot detection range, six field-selectable modulation channels, and micro­wave path monitoring, protects open areas, gates, rooftops, and walls. The system allows deployment of any combination of fence, buried cable, and microwave solutions.
