MOTION DETECTORS

Bosch Security Systems of Fairport, New York, has launched a new generation of Blue Line Motion Detectors. Blue Line Gen2 provides improved catch performance, enhanced false alarm immunity, and easier installation. Availa­ble in standard and pet-friendly models, the new series is suita­ble for residential and commercial applications. Models include passive infra­red (PIR), Quad PIR, and Tri­Tech units that combine PIR and mi­cro­wave technologies. All devices use an interchangeable mounting base and cover a 40- by 40-foot wall-to-wall area. Detectors analyze motion to differentiate hu­man targets from other sources of movement and automatically adjust sensitivity based on signal amplitude, polarity, slope, and timing.
